The Best Superbowl XLIII Commercial

Saint Paul, Minnesota
February 1, 2009

This was my pick for best Superbowl Commercial, because it had all the right elements. It had the action of a hurled snow globe, then drama of an office setting and the "You Can Never Go Wrong, Sure Fired Win" of someone getting hit in the nuts.

In addition to this being one of the funiest ad's, it was homemade, sort of. Sure, they're not complete amatures and yes they do have a small entertainment company, but none the less it was a brilliant ad created by Herbert Brothers Entertainment. That's right, this was the genius of Joe Herbert and his brothers. Mr. Herbert also works on the animation for the Simpsons.

The thing that I like about this is that big name companies like Frito Lays and Coca-Cola can capitalize on what amounts to very good, free advertizing and buzz, while the individuals who create them gain noteriaty and or their 15 minutes of fame. And we get to enjoy their creations.

Well here it is, my selection for the best 2009 Superbowl Ad.
